This Journal and Workbook will help you:
- Understand trauma, teach about the disparity of mental health in Black women, and educate on the subjects of attachment and relationships.
- Learn how to heal and give you the tools with which to do it.
- Craft a new narrative that ensures your healing persists after the work is done.
- Provide meditations, a call to action, and a space to write letters to your past, present, and future self.
No One Told Me…We Can Heal Too was created to change the narrative that has surrounded what trauma and pain look like for Black women and works in conjunction with therapy for a comprehensive healing experience.
Written by a Black woman for other Black women, No One Told Me…We Can Heal Too is an interactive workbook and therapeutic healing guide.

About the author.

I knew early on that helping others heal was my passion, therefore I made therapy my career. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a private practice in Benton, Arkansas. I opened my private practice in 2014 with the belief in mind that overcoming trauma is the gateway to healing, happiness and wholeness. In my practice, I primarily provide trauma therapy but I’m equally passionate about helping shift the narrative surrounding healing in our black and brown communities. This passion guides the purpose of this workbook.
This Journal and workbook will help you understand trauma, teach about the disparity of mental health in Black women, and educate you on attachment and relationships.
Based on my clinical experience, I help provide Black women with new tools to process and heal from trauma.
